Supersymmetric contributions to the quark-lepton universality violation in charged currents.

چکیده
The supersymmetric one-loop contribution to the quark-lepton universality violation in the low-energy charged current weak interactions is studied. It is shown that the recent experimental data with the 1-σ deviation from the universality may be explained by the existence of the light sleptons (< 220GeV) and relatively light chargino and neutralinos (< 600GeV) with significant gaugino components. The sign of the universality violation is briefly discussed.

Electroweak Precision Measurements and the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model
We discuss supersymmetric contributions to the electroweak precision measurements in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model for two cases: the quark-lepton universality violation δq` in charged currents and the ratio Rb = Γ (Z → bb̄)/Γ (Z → hadrons). The recent experimental data suggest deviations from the Standard Model for these observables, at the 1-σ level for the former and at more than ...
متن کاملNon - Universal Gaugino Masses and the Fate of μ → eγ
We study charged lepton flavor violating processes in the context of supersymmetric models with non-universal gaugino masses. We consider the generic case of free gaugino masses, as well as specific models based on gaugino mediation and SU(5) GUTs. Under the assumption that the main source of lepton flavor violation resides in the off-diagonal elements of the left handed slepton mass matrix, we...
متن کاملCEDM constraints on modified sfermion universality and spontaneous CP violation
We discuss the supersymmetric CP problem that arises when the sfermion soft mass universality is modified. We place the 3rd generation SU(5) ten-plet sfermion masses in the weak scale in view of the naturalness. The other sfermion masses are assumed to be universal and a TeV scale in order to weaken the flavor changing neutral current processes and electric dipole moment (EDM) constraints. Howe...
متن کاملThe More Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model
Effective Supersymmetry is presented as a theory of physics above the electroweak scale which has significant theoretical advantages over both the standard model and the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard model (MSSM). The theory is supersymmetric at short distances but differs significantly from the MSSM: there is no supersymmetric CP problem and flavor changing neutral currents and lepton flavor...
متن کاملLepton – Flavor Violation with Non – universal Soft Terms
We study the lepton–flavor violation processes τ → μγ and μ → eγ in two different examples of models with non–universal soft breaking terms derived from strings. We show that the predictions are quite different from those of universal scenarios. Non–universal A–terms provide an interesting framework to enhance the supersymmetric contributions to CP violation effects. We observe that in the case...
